Shayari Hub Poetry event in Varanasi.
On 19 November 2021
Open mic nights are a great way for many aspiring musicians,
artists, and poets as well to gain exposure and experience for their musical
careers. Gaining immediate feedback from the audience (many of whom are artists
themselves), breaking into the local music scene, and networking with other
musicians are just a few of the benefits of performing at an open mic event.
Participating in an open mic night is probably one of the simplest ways to gain experience performing in front of a crowd. These opportunities allow you to gain first-hand experience with certain aspects of live performance, such as performing in front of a crowd that is clearly uninterested (or too drunk to understand what is going on) or even losing your voice. Every experience will teach you something new and help you become a better performer.
